Divine Driftwood from Heather Jansch

The silverly, smooth wood that washes up on shore has enchanted people for many years...
survivors, shaped by the sea into into rippling sculptures.

I like driftwood just as it is.
I'd be more than happy to fill my home with lovely old bits -
 D. on the other hand, thinks termites and dirt!

So we compromise to a few small collections contained in glass cloches..

Over the last few years there has some amazing driftwood furniture and lighting floating about..

How about a little art for the garden?

Heather Jansch elevates the humble medium into great sculptural beauty
as she creates these breathtaking creatures..
